flyby. Was fishing Choke yesterday and noticed a military plane flying low and made a turn in my direction. As he got closer he flipped his plane sideways and came directly at me. Don't know how high he was but it was low enough I though I could see him wave at me. Pretty awesome event for me. A big thanks to the pilot if you see this for making my day and thanks for your service.

If you liked that you should be on the Mexico side of Falcon and have the Helicopter swoop down on you with a manned 50 Cal. sitting in the doorway. I have had them so low on me that the water was blowing on us from the rotor blade.

My brother and I were fishing a weekday on Choke back before 9/11..

Right along the riprap/dam..

Two fighters came over the dam about 50' high.. Right over us.. Scared the hell out of us..

Not sure how low they really were but one of the pilots had blue eyes and the other green..

I think I chummed my chonies..

They said that there was zero parking spots at Mason Pt ramp & Hwy 99 ramp, hopefully it was just duck hunters. You Yankee Texans & out of staters stay in your own regions, we don’t need people bringing their Covid down here.

They were probably looking at a 16 foot gator right next to your boat that you didn’t know was there. We’ve had some giants surface right next to the boat that we never saw until they were right next us! Talk about chitin ur pants!

Saw a few large gators on the banks yesterday sunning. Seems most of the boats on the water were duck hunting as there was a ton of shooting and not many seen fishing. I thinks I was the hunters best friend as every time I moved the ducks flew and the shooting began.

I've witnessed many military planes out in this area when I was chasing rigs in the Eagle Ford. Not sure if they were from the Naval bases in Kingsville or Corpus. Pretty cool sight to see

Here is a snap shot of the US Military Low fly training areas around Choke. I've seen T-6's, T-38C, F-16's, and even a F-15E while fishing at Choke over the last 20 + years. Low fly area us cleared for 200ft AGL -1,500ft AGL.

We used to see them regularly over Rayburn from Barksdale AFB in Bossier City!

Too bad they can't open a season on comarants......It would help the fishing and rid the lake of those roaches.
