Is air frying fish actually good? Today, I fried up some crappie and compared it to the traditional pan-fried crappie. Hope you guys enjoy this video and if you've done this before, make sure to leave a comment down below letting me know how it was for you!

I use panko bread crumbs. I tried corn meal and it would not crisp up the same as deep fried..

I like a 50/50 mix of parmesean and panko. Tastes great!

Fried these a few weeks ago and I was skeptical. They turned out pretty good. A little different texture, but not bad. Used Louisiana fish fry. Dipped first in egg/milk wash.

It's not really frying. Its basically a small convection oven. I gave mine away to a daughter-in-law.

Haven’t tried air frying filets yet. But when I oil fried a batch of Bisquick and Club Soda battered filets last time, I reheated them in the air fryer. I kid you not, they were better as leftovers. The batter was crispier and sweeter.

Nothing beats deep fried! If Iwant to be healthy I throw it in the oven. Lost 20 lbs in last 2 months...I’ve been eating fried fish 2-3 times a week....May have an early/skinny heart attack but ill die happy 😃 eating my fried fish.

Well, we tried it tonight, LA hot sauce and all. We didn’t care for it.

Tried it with basic, flour, egg, panko ..... good, not great. EASY, no mess, and quick! Will mess with batter and try again. I guess healthy is a good thing ;/

I tried it one time and that was enough!....As mentioned above, I gave mine to my daughter!
I love to eat fresh fish, and can eat it until I make myself sick, and if it's not fried in oil or baked in a conventional oven, I'm not going to ruin perfectly good fish!

Just one more cast!

Good video Mr Miller. Been wanting to see this done.

And I do love me some of that LA Hot Sauce! So much so, that I put it on hot air pop-corn instead of butter. I've also used it on salads as a dressing sub. And when my throat gets just a touch scratchy, that's right, I take a pretty good nip out of the bottle. roflmao
