I’m switching over to NPFL this year from FLW/MLF. As an angler I think there are some things to like about it for sure: More on the water cameras, not every event will be during the spawn, everyone fishes 3 days, 125 max field instead of 200 anglers & a schedule more spread out over the year so it’s easier to work a real job too. Why the confused look? I’ve fished a good number & Bass & Flw events. I’ve lived the pros & cons of each. I’m sure there will be some with this too, like anything else. I am excited for something spread out enough for a working guy to fish. I understand the mathematics of being a pro. Even when you cut a check the majority of the time it’s hard to make an actual good living. Too many expenses & no long term retirement or benefits. I do it for love of the game.
