I've never understood someone having a bad experience with a dealership so they say they won't own that brand vehicle.

Three dealerships. Three dealerships either can't or won't fix the problem. Seems it starts as a a product problem but the manufactor can't even fix their problem.
That is why I'll never own another Ford.

Lemon Laws don't work that way.

Tha'ts correct, but not NEARLY as much....Toyota's tech is old school for sure and that's why it don't break as much. They are behind the times in terms of technology.....

It would be nice if they did.

have had my 14 f150 in 4 different dealerships, all 4 took great care of me and got the problem fixed asap but most were just for oil changes.

prestige in garland (where I bought mine) has a huge shop area and I think does great work. cost at dealerships is really not that bad any more, they are all too expensive but at least with a dealer you have some recourse if they screw things up, joe blows chop shop will tell ya to take a hike most times.

+ another, I had a carbuerated F150 that was not running right. It sat at a dealer for a week. I called and they said they were backed up. I asked can you just diagnose it. It was a loose wire to choke. 15 minute fix including diagnosing.

pretty sure most dealerships suck in at least one persons eyes.

I took it to another Ford dealership. They said that isn't right and fixed everything. Driving away from that dealership the oil pressure warning starts beeping.
Take it to a third Ford Dealership where is has sat for three day and no one has even looked at it.

Chevrolet here I come! NEVER AGAIN will I buy a FORD!

If you had the work done at the Ford dealership and you have the paper work for it and they will not stand behind then go up the food chain.

Contact Ford Corporate and tell them what is going on.

Do not tell them you pissed off and will never buy another Ford because they will tell you to pound sand.

As long as they think they can save you as a customer they will help.

I am assuming that the truck isn't under warranty anymore as it would have been covered if it were.

Sometimes you have to stop going to different dealers so one can diagnose the problem correctly and get it fixed.

The Ford dealer here in Greenville is pretty good for service. But that may be because our Service Tech/Writer guy was a client of my Wife.

The Chevy shop here sucks.

You're right, but GV is pretty backwards in this respect. Almost everywhere else i've been, the Ford dealers suck and Chevy is usually pretty good.

I've started going to Young Chevrolet in Mesquite/Dallas when I need anything. They treated me great when I had just bought a used truck from them and had a paint issue and i was just barely out of warranty. They also did a great job on my alignment and tires.

Ditto here. I NEVER go to a dealer for anything not under warranty. Do all my oil changes and tire service at WalMart. Just bought a set of Dextero 50,000 mile tires there for $107 each-American made. Are comparable to the set of Coopers they replaced which were $130 each and did last for 50,000 miles. Hope these do as well. If so, a good buy.

I’ve used Bill Utter Ford in Corinth for several years and have always had a positive experience.
