No experience but I've seen quite a few catches out of it through others. Lots of Buffalo in the teens, lots of smaller Carp. Biggest I saw was a 30 ish Buff

Catch and release. The dream - to catch one of every species of Freshwater fish in our great state! If only I can resist Carp...

It's loaded with both carp and buffalo. Access can be a problem if you're bank fishing. Lots of brush and rocks to hang up on. Chum and you should have good action within an hour or so. Multi is about right on the sizes, although there are a few bigger fish in there if you get lucky.

I’ve fished Belton recently (within the last 2 years). I fished near a marina and found that I had an incredible number of line snaps due to the sharp rock drop offs where I was fishing. I hooked into an incredible amount of fish and I lost and I don’t kid you, 15 fish. I could not tie rigs quick enough. That was one of my worst days fishing. I was incredibly frustrated.

Give a man a fish he can eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and you can get rid of him for the entire weekend!

I pulled up some zebra mussels in the marina closest to the dam. Sharp suckers!

"Slow ahead." I can go slow ahead. Come on down here and chum some of this [censored].

No problem. I parked and fished at Morgan’s Point Resort Marina. If you search it on Google Maps there is a small branch off of the main lake, and it is called Tanyard Branch.

Grew up about 10 minutes from that lake, unfortunately I didn’t find carp fishing until I left home.

You're better off at Stillhouse Hollow. Bank access still kinda sucks, but better fish

Bowfishing sucks
