So how long will big schools of bass hold in an area during winter? How far will they move?

I guess it all depends on the weather, water temps and the availability of food... Dan

I have been working on a school I found at Lake Grapevine .
They have been there for several weeks.
Some days they will react to a bait others not so much.
They do move around in the basic area.

If they're deep, could be there for weeks or until pre-spawn. Weather will affect the shallow groups more. This is when they'll stay put longer than any other time of year.
