 White bass in the Leon River ?

Just curious if anyone catches them during the spawn up the Leon and if so how far ? We have a place with some Leon River frontage close to Gatesville. Have never tried for white bass but have fished it a few times and caught catfish. Water is pretty shallow usually by our place , 2-4 feet most places. Any help appreciated

When there is good flow in the river, lots of white bass are caught at Mother Neff State Park and areas above the park. Don't know about as far up stream as Gatesville.
