If you are looking to get into the Gulf at all I HIGHLY recommend Jay Lancaster. I am biased, but he's a good guy with one of the best boats in the area. If you are going into the bays my recomendation would be any of the gentlemen from the Texas Fishing Report YouTube channel. All good guys. I would request that if you go with any of these options PLEASE let them know I sent you... I could use a little love when I hit them up myself for a charter. Contact info below.

Woody’s Sports Center books private bay trips.

You might want to call Dolphindocks in Port Aransas and tell them what you are looking for. Their number is 1-800-EYE-FISH. Webpage dolphindocks.com They have 4, 8, 9, 10, 12 hour and longer trips; bay, jetty, and offshore. I have caught lots of fish with them over the years and you should have a great time. My wife and I often do back to back 4 hour bay trip with them if they are catching.

Another vote for Dolphin Docks. Did a 12 hour state waters red snapper trip on 2/9. Will definitely head down there again soon!

you absolutely can take your bass tracker fishing at port aransas. The salt will not hurt your boat at all it will hurt your trailer if you have a tube trailer if you have a C-channel and take it too the car wash as soon as your done you will have no issues. Put your boat in at the JFK Causeway and head south toward baffin and you will have miles upon miles to fish. I have been doing this for twenty five years and my boats have never caught the dreaded cancer....lol... and IF your worried about the motor do some reading and research and you will find its no problem just flush it after. If you do the research and learn the difference between a salt and freshwater motor you will laugh. Hint its the same motor with a different sacrificial anode... get a good mapping chip for you electronics or you will end up on the bank. when I firs started going to the area I hired several different guides and learned where to run.
