On our third Subaru now,all with CVTs never an issue with it or anything else with them for that matter,once you get past waiting for it to shift you will love them.

That is the one thing I do miss about my Soul. That thing had a great design and ample headroom. I love my Sonata, but I do miss the headroom the Soul provided. If you can fit in it, I am sure the Spark will be okay. I drove a Nissan Versa with a CVT back around 2012 on a mystery shop test drive. Not a fan.

Both of our kids have Soul +'s and they do have a lot of room in them for a small car.

I am 6' 7" and have no trouble with headroom or legroom in them. cheers

I had a 2006 Murano that had CVT, worked great, nice and smooth.
