Best postseason QB of all time for sure. I've never argued with that. But he's not the best football player of all time, and I don't think he's the best QB of all time. I said before the season that by the numbers, if the Bucs went 12-4, it would be hard to argue.
Colts 2010 with Manning - 10-6 Colts 2011 without Manning - 2-14 8 games better with Peyton
Broncos 2011 without Manning - 8-8 Broncos 2012 with Manning - 13-3 5 games better with Peyton
Patriots 2008 without Brady - 11-5 Patriots 2009 with Brady - 10-6 1 game worse with Brady
Bucs 2019 without Brady - 7-9 Bucs 2020 with Brady - 11-5 4 games better with Brady
Watch some of the old espn or nfl network airings of Peyton - the guy was bonkers in the regular season and just played with way too crappy a defense and way too crappy of coaches for too many years in Indy. They had no line other than Jeff Saturday, no defense other than Bob Sanders, no RB to speak of, and no really stellar wide receivers. So when it came to postseason time, one guy on a 53 man roster just wasn't enough. Also, my biggest factor is that Manning just changed the way the game is played.
But I've said before and I'll reiterate that I'll be forced to reevaluate if he wins a SB in TB. So we'll see in a couple weeks. As of now, the numbers don't support it when you use only the QB as an independent variable to determine what their contribution to the team's success is. Reggie Wayne Marvin Harrison

Ali, he even announced it himself to the world when he said, "I am the greatest of all time"! Gotta be the GOAT of all, and can't be debated if you know it yourself and tell everybody!
