Don't remember fishing in fog this thick in recent memory in the CENTEX. Didn't catch karp either. [Linked Image]

What about the frogs? Were they little?

I was the only boat on the lake. I was able to hammer down everywhere I went! Don’t know why there were so many trucks and trailers at the ramp. Must have been a wild Saturday night and they all called ubers to get home. roflmao

Several boats out with me yesterday. Heard somebody riding around looking for the ramp and they finally keyed the panic button on their truck to find it I guess.

Can't tell you how many times I made a circle on Monty when it was fogged/steamed in so bad you couldn't see 10 feet in front of you. And puckered up hearing someone running WOT and not knowing where they were! Yep...good times! Thank you Lord for GPS!

Been there before. It’s kinda freaky. It also way to easy to turn circles in the fog.

After a brief rain shower yesterday, the fog got so thick I could cast further than I could see. After Steez left, I was the only one on the lake.

Sunday on Grapevine. This is pictures looking NSE&W. Several times I didn't know which way was north, if it wasn't for the road noise I would not have known which way was south.. In all my years on the water only seen that twice. Spot lock with no wind and the boat was all over the place. Beautiful and eerie.

Couple times I heard a boat and thought oh [censored]..

I left the Monty ramp at 5:00 one morning in kayak, trying to beat everyone to the back in the pads. I couldn't even find the opening through the big bridge. It was fogged up all the way from the park ramp. I didn't have gps and was only my third time to fish it. Finally made it under big bridge, know that I needed to paddle about 15 minutes dead ahead and then make a 90 degree turn to right to find railroad bridge. With any breeze I can keep a pretty good heading by the feel of wind direction on side of my face. It was windless this day. Think I hear the bucket running and go towards the sound. Ended up back at the big bridge with traffic going across. Headed back it correct direction, can't figure out where I am... decide to head to shore, can't find bank in any direction. Must have gotten close several times to only change directions when I thought I was close. By now sun is coming up and I hear boats coming... can't see anything in any direction. Fog lifts for a second, I get out camera to show twenty feet of clearing around me, put camera away and get turned around again, fog rolls back in, and lost again. Its funny now but at the time it was terrifying hearing those boats blasting by.

The three boats I heard were prob over a mile away but it sounded like they were going to pop out of the fog.. Was Interesting in a bass boat, I bet it was 10 fold in the kayak.
