I tried this one recently and it has some good qualities, also seemed it has a pretty tuff shell.
Caught one nice 4lber on it banging it through a heavy lay down.
Rapala Balsa Xtreme BX Big Brat Squarebill.

Rapala is always a good start imo.

Depends how much you want to spend. Like mentioned Black Label is good and is also owned by Cliff Pace. You can find them on Woodbaitcountry. He doesnt claim to make a duplicate of Ed Chambers Zoom crankbaits....but its my understanding that he was lucky enough to get Ed Chambers old tools to make a few models of the WEC/Zoom line of crankbaits. Im pretty sure he makes his version of the most popular ones.

Once you want to take a deep dive and really get on the juice....google jawjacker balsa 🤔

Check out Jaw Jacker Handmade Crankbaits... Hard to get a hold of and pricey, but they're worth it... Dan

Jimmie Etter and Herman Oswald are two good crankbait makers. I don’t think you can go wrong getting any from someone who has a good reputation in the balsa world. Checkout Carolina crankbait supply, they carry baits from several good makers.

Cliff Pace puts out a really good bait! I have 35 - 40 of them and very satisfied!
