My favorite Browning guns are the 45 caliber 1911 and the A5 shotgun.

1911 was a good invention, but not the best pistol by any means. The 1911 couldn't even hold the Highpoint C9's jock strap.

Considering John Browning designed it over 100 years ago, speaks for itself. Maybe the most copied pistol ever.

M1917 Browning machine gun
The M1917 Browning machine gun is a heavy machine gun used by the United States armed forces in World War I, World War II, and the Korean War; it has also been used by other nations. It was a crew-served, belt-fed, water-cooled machine gun that served alongside the much lighter air-cooled Browning M1919. It was used at the battalion level, and often mounted on vehicles (such as a jeep). There were two main iterations: the M1917, which was used in World War I and the M1917A1, which was used thereafter. The M1917, which was used on some aircraft as well as in a ground role, had a cyclic rate of 450 rounds per minute. The M1917A1 had a cyclic rate of 450 to 600 rounds per minute.

This is the Texas Fishing Forum not the Texas Hunting Forum. Can we get a mod to move this?

Words to live by? It sounds more like someone obsessing over and spending way too much time alone with their firearms. I'm betting this guy has a lot of different types of animal urine to coat himself with.

My favorite was "Get a hat; a real hat, you gotta have a hat. Not a baseball cap." Imagine that for a minute. It would be like the Kentucky Derby with all of us running around in elaborate hats like royals or train engineers.

Watches are for fancy folks or old guys. Give me my phone and I can give you the time, GPS coordinates and just about anything else you want to know. Make a watch that can do that and we can talk.

Yup, I don’t need someone who makes a point about boots from Montana telling me how to be a man. If I didn’t know any better I’d say this came out some western living magazine for yuppies on how to fit in with the locals when you buy your ranch in Wyoming.

I like the line about carrying a single action pistol. roflmao
