When I was a kid, I couldn't understand why Eisenhower was so popular. Maybe this will explain why.

However, this is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving into it.

It is now more than 70 years after the Second World War in Europe ended. This e-mail is being sent as a memorial chain, in memory of the six million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians, and 1,900 Catholic priests Who were 'murdered, raped, burned, starved, beaten, experimented on and humiliated while many in the world looked the other way!

Now, more than ever, with Iran, among others, claiming the Holocaust to be 'a myth,' it is imperative to make sure the world never forgets.

Remember when all classrooms had an American flag in them?

Do they even teach our children about the World Trade Center attacks in 1993 and 2001, or did it go the way of Pearl Harbor and Veterans Day?

last week , my 4 year old grandson was facetiming with my wife and I , he wanted to tell us he learned something new --- he then proceeded to sing the pledge of allegiance to us . Not gonna lie , it made me so proud --- I cried .

I was little when my folks took me to the opening of his library. Actually saw the man.

There are so many pictures of the death camps, even 8mm films of it and some folks still say it never happened. My dad saw it first hand and told me to never forget it happened. He never talked much about WWII but when he talked about the Holocaust, it was one of the few times I ever saw him cry.

If you get the chance go through the Holocaust Museum in Washington D.C. I will freely admit that I was totally choked up, with tears in my eyes, when we walked out of that place. My wife and I were just silenced by what we saw and probably didn't say a word for about 15 minutes.
