This is how to raise a pet bass of your own! Putting a bass in a native fish tank can be quite stressful at first for both you and your new fish, but with these simple steps, you can be on your way to feeding your bass for the first time! P.S. Here in Texas, keeping a bass as a pet is not illegal. I have screenshots from TPWD and have done a bunch of research. If y'all would want any help on getting started, feel free to leave a question for me and i'll get back to it ASAP

This is true ^^^ keeping bass under 14" out of public waters is not legal in the first place. Under 14" must be from private waters.

If it is caught in public water and is less than 14ā it is illegal. Remember, not everyone reading posts here or watching a video lives in the same state. Some have a general low limit, but special rules for some lakes that specify no minimum length for harvest (which is a tool for population management). So, not EVERY said fish is by definition illegal. As an example, Fayette County Lake has a 16-24 slot. By the state's special regulation, catch a 10" bass, or even a 6" bass, you can take it home. Though, with the stupid drain your livewell & bait containers in all instances rule, I'm not sure how said fish would be transported home alive.

Neat video. I can remember watching a video of yours on the day you released Benny. Good productions and thanks for sharing.

Because you raised a bass of your own for 2 years plus, did hundreds of hours of research, treated said fish for an infection, and had never done anything with aquariums beforehand? Neat! If that's the case, then I completely agree with you

Had one for Years, great entertainment. Mine sure wasn't a picky eater. Anything put in the tank and he would try to eat it. Also had a 3000 gallon with multiple game species at work location. Again, great entertainment!
