I need to visit your bar, the BBQ joint next to you was really good 20 years ago Up in smoke closed about 6 years ago It was good in its prime

I also really like catfish cabin in jasper, I would eat the pickled green tomatoes till I nearly bust . It's gone now too

The Cove Cafe in Whitney is also excellent...yeah, that one and Madea's are my favorites. I've got to get to madeas. Hatch's ftw Have you tried Drew's place? Also legit. Over in Como.

I was always a fan of Irbys in granbury but it's been years. I like mine too They're gone now, but it was good. For me its belzonis. Sides are mediocre but the catfish is strait up legit. https://belzoniscatfishcafe.com/Just now saw that place today. Think ill have to stop in one day for lunch now!

I took one of the bosses there for his birthday...usually he pays, but I got ahead of him in line and paid. I told him I'd take him there again this year, but after last year, he was gonna have to pay....

There used to be a place called McGeHees just north of the Oklahoma border. Said to have a little runway to fly in, ive passed over it once but never stopped. Anybody been there and hows the runway? Talked to a couple thats been there many years back and they said it was the best catfish around.

There’s a great local place near me in Danbury,TX(Fillipps Cafe) that has been around since the late 50’s that churns out fried catfish daily. Fried shrimp is great too. Always some old salts that are members of the Beri lake bass club always there BS’ing .
