Fished Lake Mcqueeney with good buddy Jeff. We Fished from 8am till 3pm . Picked up some nice bass (2 to 3 lbs) holding by drop offs in 9 feet of water. Silver Rattle Traps were used with a medium retrieve. We then tried some marked brush piles for crappie with poor results. We did find a bunch of crappie holding by a dock in about 14 feet of water. Picked up a few for the dinner table. Jigs Chartreuse/Pink got the best results. We finished the day by catching a few Bluegill using Gulp Alive Leaches. The Bluegill were holding close to a dock in 14 to 16 feet of water. We added three nice Bluegill to the dinner table. All in all not a bad day on Mcqueeney. Awesome post Curtis. Good job guys.  Side Note: Have you fished the main channels this winter ? If so how was the bite?

Awesome post Curtis. Good job guys. Side Note: Have you fished the main channels this winter ? If so how was the bite? Thanks for the replies. Chuck: I have only fished the main lake so far this year. For me the channel bite usually picks up late spring.
