Update: he left us today to be with the man upstairs. About as peaceful as you could ask for, just can’t wrap my head around it happening.
My wife's uncle, Ronnie Kirkpatrick has now been in ICU for over 20 days, about a week or more ago he developed pneumonia. He's fighting the hell out of it, but it's kicking his [censored]. Like fight for a week to get up two steps, and something happens and we're down three. He's supposed to be moved from the Covid ICU to regular ICU today, but we're waiting on a bed. Hoping once we can get in there and he can hear us, maybe that'll be a little shining light for him.
He's a dad to both of us, and a grandpa to my kids even though he's "Uncle Ronnie" we see him every week unless he's in MO visiting one of his daughters. Can't lose him yet.
