Um, perhaps it has something to do with them having the highest concentration of the u.s. population within the boundaries of California? I mean, where the highest concentration of people are, isn’t that likely to be where the most instances and spread of the virus would be?

The mask doesn't keep you from getting it, it keeps you from giving it. If somone without a mask with the virus sneezes or coughs on you and you have a mask your likely still to get it.

Who cares who won the election. A lot of people have died and maybe the numbers are inflated, but most of us know at least one person that has had it or died from it. If a mask does help, great. If it doesn't, great. It's a small inconvenience until a vaccine is given to the majority of Americans. Let's just get back to giving a damn about the man or woman next to you, who cares about politics.

The masks don't save lives. Lady that used to go to my church stopped going to church and wouldn't leave her house period. Her son, a buddy of mine, would get her groceries and leave them on her porch for her. She still got it (so they say) and passed away from it. Every death is absolutely horrible but masks aren't helping.

That state has many areas of areas with very dense populations of groups of people who seem to have higher instances of infection. Urban areas are the perfect breeding ground for "super spreading". Biff and Buffy in the burbs holiday celebrations are not the true root for the massive spread in infections. It's the lower social-economic areas with 2+ generations living in one household and who some say do not live really "clean" or may or may not practice good personal hygiene.

I am curious as to how many that are resistant to the most basic of preventative measures would be willing to volunteer to be intentionally infected with Covid? Since there isn’t and won’t be for some time enough vaccine to go around, they could be placed in one of several massive field hospitals that will provide them with only the basic comfort and care until the virus has naturally run its course in them. They will either die or survive. If they survive and test to having the antibodies that provides them with immunity to ensures they can no longer become a host, they could go on with their lives mask and other restriction free, if not, they could be buried on the spot and when this plague is all over with we can turn those field hospitals into national monuments to be used as educational facilities to teach future generations what happens to hero’s who were so inconsiderate of the health and safety for others, they sacrificed themselves to prove that they believed in liberty!

I was in LA in the late summer. Don’t believe all the lock down hype. Other than having to eat outside and wear a mask things were pretty much like pre Covid where I was west of the 405.
