My right hand man RD "Reel Deal" Myers has been laying the hammer down on Cedar Creek lately, with hybrids, whites and the occasional crappie being the target species. The fish are right where they're "supposed" to be, suspended over main lake creek channels and following large schools of shad. I've been busy guiding deer/duck/hog hunts, so I've had to live vicarioulsy through him in regards to all the big fish he's been putting customers on. Here is the scouting report he gave me:

Rods - Okuma Shadow Stalkers and Shakespear Ugly Stiks
Reels - Shimano Siennas and Pfleuger Presidents
LIne 8-10lb high vis mono
Jig - Shaddaboy Thump Chubbies and Fishing Farmer Thump Buddies
Jig Heads - 1/8 or 1/4 ounce
Water Condtion - lightly stained
Water temps - high 40s to low 50s
Depth - suspended around 15-25ft in 40-50ft of water

Quote of the week "Deadsticking with a Livescope is just plain silly. Being able to take the bait away from the sandies and putting it in front of hybrids is so much fun!"

We have a wintertime special going until the end of February. $100 per person, three people min, six people max. That still includes all bait and tackle, bottled water and we filet your fish after we take some great pictures. I'm happy to help get you on the books if you would like to give me a call at 817-266-9811
