Slammed em with a plastic swim bait by Westin Fishing and the KVD red eyed shad lipless crank. 2 solid baits I am very confident in this winter! Let me know how I can improve!! Enjoy.

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

I was not expecting you to lift your kayak like like. smile I usually man handle it using the side handles, and this is a pain in the rear so I just bought a c tug cart. Great video and I like the fact that you keep thinks simple; car, kayak, and fishing technique. Stayed blessed!!!!

Yes, they all were really pale. Not sure what that means or what causes it, but I have heard amount of light that reaches a fish and or they can adjust their pigment for camouflage for ambushing. Who knows though?

I appreciate the feedback! Yes, I want to get a cart of sorts for mine, but thankfully that yak is on the lighter side. I try to keep it simple man, there is a place for complex fishing, but not really my cup of tea!

Pale color is often a sign of fish that have lived "offshore" in more open water for a lengthy period of time. Over time, their pigment adjusts to better cloak them in the environment. Likewise, I've caught bass under heavy cover that had been there a while - resulting in an almost black coloration!
