 Help with nmea 2000 yamaha to solix

Has anyone completed a nmea install from sho 250 to solix? Looking for which adapters are necessary. Looks like some people are using the lowrance kit even for humminbird?
Solix is supposed to need less adapters? Everything I can find so far is clear as mud!

trying to figure it out also . trying helix to sho.but might buy a solix . from what i can tell with solix you will need yahama interface cable and nmea starter kit. the interface cable seems to be the only concern i have but it seems the lowarnce one will work . but with helix you have to buy the nmea 2k black box also. hodges marine seems to have the lowest price on yamaha cable . working on my 2019zx250 i really would like to know the hours on engine
