I’m looking for a 20’-21’ boat but also looking for a wide deck. I’m not sure where to even start at looking at makes of boats. I would like something that handles rough water well. Budget is $30,000-$38,000 and don’t want to go older than a 2010. Any advice, opinions, or makes to steer clear from?

Personal preference would be to get something with a four stroke. It would be tough to find a boat within that budget with the mercury four stroke and those lengths though.

Used boat he’s buying won’t have any warranty and there are a ton of aftermarket gauges and windshields that can be purchased. Deck isn’t the widest but the ride is awesome. Control pad, brain, handles on the gunnel, all the custom trim pieces for the console and bow would all be problems. On the other hand I've heard guys who bought 30+ year old Rangers and they still have all the electronic and trim pieces for order from factory.
