That's either a dual arc or twin wire submerged arc machine, running 2 wires. See the 2 cardboard looking barrels to the right? They're 1000 pound barrels of wire. Probably running at least 1000 amps combined between the 2 wires, How big are your overhead cranes Mag?

Makes me have shivers just looking at the dang thing. Are the nozzles going to be flush or have an inside projection? Sure am glad my days of climbing in and out of vessel are behind me since I am retired. I got my final notice from the American Petroleum Institute that my API-510 certification will expire at the end of January. That is a well thought out shop and some nice equipment. Does your shop do its own inspection or hire it out?

These have an inside projection, if there flush I'll cope EM so it looks good on Final.


Pretty much in house, AI will stop by once a week and eagle eye 🧐 the ASME Vessels
