We have an ongoing issue with Nissan Acceptance since last October, and I have been trying to get it straightened out. After more calls than I can count, all of them resulting only in recordings telling me how to pay them money I don’t owe them, I’m getting really pi$$ed off. I’d like to find out if there is a way to actually talk to a person. A person who is able to look up the account and get the issue resolved, rather than promising to do so, then a different moron calling the next day and starting all over. I’m fed up with the daily calls from idiots who can’t be bothered to check the facts, and I’m fed up with calling other departments, only to be told that “”I’ll transfer you to the proper department.” And the proper department is the recording of all the different ways I can send them the payments that I don’t owe them, and no way to talk to a person who can do anything other than transfer me to the collections recording. I’m about to buy a house, and I don’t need my credit dinged over an “overdue debt” that I don’t owe. Why do they make it impossible to get the issue resolved?

If it's like most places these days you are talking to someone named Sam at a call center in India.

Not sure where you are located but there are 2 pretty good car related shows on the radio in DFW on the weekends that may be able to help. You can email them. They do there best to get back to you in a few days.

Did you ever have a Nissan payment?

Wonder if it’s a scam?

Maybe somebody used your identity to buy a car?

800/456-6622 is the number I have been calling. Umpteen bazillion times. Never able to speak to a person yet. I have called dealerships, fleet sales, and every number I could find online. I always get told that I am being transferred to the people I need to speak to. At that number.

I have a Nissan note. Twice in the past they have blown up my phone insisting that a payment was overdue, and both times they finally — after a lot of aggravation — figured out that they screwed up. Now they are at it again, and all anyone at Nissan will do is transfer my calls back to collections. Where one cannot talk to a person. If I wasn’t trying to buy a house I’d just pay it off and tell everybody to run like hell from Nissan Acceptance. But I don’t have that option, and I’m fed up with arrogant morons blowing up my phone and calling my office.

There has to be a way to talk to a person there. I just need someone to tell me how to do that.

Jim I’d recommend going to a local Nissan dealership, hopefully where you purchased your vehicle.

Have you pulled your free credit reports? I mean the real free ones to have a look.

How do you pay the note? By check or online banking?
