For those of you who are interested in learning more about thumping, Father Son Outdoors will be running a show on the Pursuit Channel this Wednesday showcasing their use of my thumpers. If you are interested check it out. I have always been a mediocre fisherman but the thumper has dramatically improved my success rate and I learned about thumping from guides like Wes (Bend a Rod) and really learned how to dial in my thumper from Josh (Southern Wind) and Brad (Circle B). Joe uses the thumper on catfish as well. I hope you all watch it and enjoy it. There are many thumpers out there so get yourself one, build yourself one or grab a stick! Thumping can be a game changer if you like to vertical fish for whites, hybrids and Striper! ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2021/01/full-56976-81719-3d4a28ca_153b_4735_a4d9_a53a161940b9.jpeg)

Thanks for the fast shipping, Eric. Got it today, and I’ve recorded the Father and Son episode to watch later.

I watched the show. It said nothing about the thumper. All you could see was them catching fish and hear the thumper in the back ground. What a waste of my time. I was hoping to get some information on how you set it up and what depth it works best and so on. The least they should have done was show you the box and explain what's going on and how it works.

I spoke to Joe about that. He has another show coming where he discusses it in detail. He did catch some nice fish with it, especially those catfish! If you really want answers to those questions, check out my YouTube channel. I have tons of videos on there... or give me a call 972 689-4245. https://youtube.com/channel/UCi602ZTsxnkaVwT0wq3OgCA

Barbers Tree, feel free to contact me with any questions on how I use the thumper as well. If you fish for any fish that are schooling I feel it is a worth while invstment. I got a few stories about pulling schools of striper out from under other guide buddies of mine with it. It made a believer out of them as well. Southern Wind Guide Service (580) 320-846
