 Ahhhh...The Sound Of Baseball

I live next to the baseball, softball, and soccer fields at Northeast Texas Community College. Since Saturday, been hearing the sound of aluminum bats at the baseball field and can see the softball girls practicing and hitting in the cages. I’ve Already got some bus trips scheduled for baseball beginning next month. They’ve had to cancel a couple of softball games scheduled for the end of this month already. Hopefully everything will work out this year.
Men are like fish...If we'd learn to keep our mouth shut, we'd stay out of trouble.

Sadly (for the athletes involved) several women's NCAA basketball teams have cancelled their season.  Glad to see (and hear) the sounds of baseball filling the air!  Let hope it continues!

It's gotta be such a fiasco you don't know if your going to be able to practice, play a game, seems like you would just be waiting on the trainer to come out and say this guy/girl or these guys/girls have to leave right now and then having to wonder if the other team is even going to show up. You got to applaud football for being able to pull it off even though they had a lot of games and bowls canceled.

I sure hope they get to play. My son is a freshman and it’s time to get on the field and play some baseball and he is really looking forward to it.

We're pumped and the season cannot get here fast enough. My son's season starts out w/ a DH in OKC against Southern Nazarene Univ in 22 days, same day as his birthday. Go Riverhawks!

Good to hear they are practicing. We are hoping for a season this year too. My son is a senior at University of Dayton and is ready to get back on the mound.
