Great question..... Complex answer.

LMB are primarily sight feeders which means the twilight hours are typically best. Of course there are exceptions in that over the years we have seen larger bass become nocturnal feeders.

With that being said, LMB are also opportunistic in that presented with an easy target, many will take it and strike out of pure meanness.

So..... fish when you can. wink

The wind was in strong form today.

Addendum: I cannot, for the life of me, remember if I bought a new fishing license last Autumn.
I couldn't find one in my fishing gear, wallet or truck, so...I went anyway.
I do need to make sure though.

You can go online to the TPWD Texas License Connection website and enter your information and it will show what licenses you have.

Or if you have the TPWD Outdoor Annual mobile app you can check your license status there as well as providing proof to the game warden if asked.
