Me and first mate Jaxon were back in action this morning with my new Terrova link. Needed it today with no wind and the lake was glass. Bait was easy in 42 ft. Found miles and miles of gizzard Shad and sandbass in 45 ft around the channel but no big fish around them. Moved up into 30 ft and lots of medium gizzards with no fish around. Moved up the channel into 20ft and lots of gizzards and no fish. Finally found a huge pile of fish in 15 ft but no bait with em. What the heck is up with these Lewisville Blues this year? Decided to throw down and pull boards through em anyways. Got lucky and hammered em good till noon. No real giants but tons of solid fish.

Thanks amigos! This time of year I get burned out on my lake. Just not a lot of big fish in Lewisville. My buddies that fish Twok, Lavon, and Texoma send me their fish pics and it drives me nuts. I gotta get a trip planned up ASAP so me and my son can hug some 50 lbrs soon!

If only I could get a windless Saturday here in Alabama. We had gusts to 25 last weekend. Funnel that stuff between the canyon walls and you get rollers too big for my Lund to handle. It swamped a boat with three duck hunters this weekend. Unfortunately, one of them drowned.
