Did anyone else see the ISS this evening? It was really bright and 60 deg high in the sky over DFW this evening.

I use this NASA website for viewing times: https://spotthestation.nasa.gov/home.cfm

Just noticed. Kind of last minute thing. The station comes over tonight at 6:35 from the SW to ENE for about 5 minutes. Should be fairly high in the sky.

It was pretty bright tonight. There was a 2nd satellite running north to south behind the station.

The app I use ISS Detector has a compass / level feature now that helps find exactly where it is coming from! cheers

I walked out to the shop and saw it perfect as it was headed NE! Big and bright. Looks like Tuesday evening will be a good one, might see one of the Starlink Satellites too!

Just watched it in Olympia Washington 6:59-7:02....right on schedule and we had a break in clearing. Kids just don't understand how cool it is seeing a space station where astronauts are living and working at a speed over 17k m/h. How many times do the lights blink before we actually see them? flag

My kiddos dont get it either, imagine going 17k mph, 250ish miles from the earth? It really fascinates me. Had my telescope out, but couldn’t keep up with it. Binos work the best imo. Will be showing up again tonight.
