And I hardly recognize it
Makes me miss: Monty Python, Mary Hartman, Bennie Hill, New Kids In The Hall, and the early day's SNL
And maybe the Gong Show a little bit
These were regulars for me on Sat & Sun nights in Abilene Tx
I am getting old aren't I

No, SNL has gone down hill big time. Openly political with garbage skits. The old school SNL reigns supreme! I used to love watching the older episodes, now I haven't watched it in years...

SNL was greatness in the days of Belushi and Akyroyd. Been a long decline since then. Recent years have been unwatchable.
