I had a blowout on a Carlisle Radial tire on my boat trailer. Tire was only on the trailer for 7 years and 8 months. But I got a great deal from Discount Tire on a pair of new tires. Again, Carlisle trailer radials, load range D. They gave me credit for the tire that blew out because I had the road hazard certificates even though they were expired. Only had to pay for one tire! I know a lot of people have had problems with Carlisle tires, but I have had very good service from them. It is a must to keep the pressure at the recommended pressure.

Ran Carlisle Radials on our old single axle trailer from '93-2014, always had good luck with them. Also used them on our travel trailer. On the TT the first two sets were good and lasted a long time. The last two sets (before they switched design/appearance) on the TT were junk, if they were over 2 years old I didnt trust them to make a trip.

I hate to say it, but for some reason trailer tires are hit and miss... You can go cheap and they'll be the best tires you've ever owned. Or go expensive and they're junk. There seems to be no in-between... Why???... We would never accept our truck tire lasting for 7-9 months... You think that blond, who passed you going 80mph while texting has checked her tire pressure in the last year???... We check tire pressure once a month, rotate, balance and are lucky to get 2 years... Dan

2years!!!????

I feel like 6-8 months of moderate use is pushing it.
