I am looking at either the GS10M or the GS10R in the super grip for jigging, do you have a preference and why?

I own 5 10ft rear seat. Mid seat takes away the full use of10 ft. This is my opinion. Acc are great rods and they stand behind thier warranty.

Andy Lehman, owner of ACC Crappie Stix, has a YouTube video entitled “Advantages of rear reel seat rods.” This may help you make your mind up. Good luck.

Like all things fishing it's a personal preference.
I prefer the mid seat and I use Bait Caster reels.
Buy one of each and see what you prefer on the water.
You won't have any issue selling the one you don't want or you may end up liking both.

I’m an amateur at jigging but the mid seat and a light spinning reel is what I like. The rear seat feels awkward to me.
