Maybe I haven't priced them in a while but I've never been able to find a product at Bass Pro cheaper than at TackleWarehouse. I could see Academy having some cheaper prices but certainly not Bass Pro or Cabelas.

You need cheap tackle, call me. I have pounds and pounds of stuff I don't really use any more. I was shocked when I went through all of my stuff try to organize for a Mexico trip last year. I am sure I am not alone...

See you on the lake and have a great day!

Probably the best selection out there. Great place to shop, but very few low prices. Heck, they seldom beat BPS.

It looks like MSRP to me.

Wish it wasn’t true but it is. Years ago TW was there for hands down the best selection AND decent prices. Now? Great selection at MSRP. Not talking about the (rare) Christmas sale.... but day in-day out they are MSRP. Honestly, going to BP is great if you want to find some floating Walleye jigs to backtroll with leaches on Mill Lacs Lake up north! laugh

I have always found Brannons Bass House to have good pricing. Better than Bass Pro and Academy. Not close by as up north of Paris in Powderly. On 271 about 15 minutes north. You can order on-line and free shipping at $50. Great folks and if you want a nice weekend drive, check them out. I have a cousin who lives in Tulsa and drives down for family reunions. He makes a point to always stop in and buys a good bag full of stuff.

I would rather buy locally than spend my money in California.

"Looked at all the overpriced tackle at academy and just sat the basket down. So, went online to tackle ware house just to find that the same stuff was $-.20-$+.40 more. Shipping free on orders $50 or more. Question is, is there any other sites that have better deals?"

Honestly, Probably not. I don't see how Bass pro and Tackle Warehouse stays in business. But I'm older and BPS has always been higher than anyone else before the internet existed. The internet evolved and companies like TW stated. To be honest, my experience has always been Academy has always been cheaper or equal than Bass Pro or TW, so I shop there. I only go to BP for what Academy does not have in stock. I'm the type of guy that wants to see the product before purchasing it. I admit Academy stocks products normally for average and begging fisherman. Can't blame them for that and they have to make money to stay in business. Just like every other business in USA right now with COVID going on. COVID-19 has impacted all businesses. I can only hope is that companies like BPS and TW and other companies can handle the storm. Otherwise all of us will see significant higher prices in the future. All I can say is support whatever company you like and are using even if it is at a higher price. I'm not saying that is right or wrong. But the more we support these companies during the hard times, then maybe they will be able to get back on their feet and provide jobs to people in the USA. I'm probably off subject, but wanted to throw this out there for consideration. I like everyone else like to get a good deal. But maybe the good deals I got in the past might help a company that needs it now more than ever and would appreciate your patronage. If you can afford it now, I highly suspect they would definitely appreciate your patronage. "Pay it forward" and hopefully our Fishing tackle companies can stay in business.

Note: I work for a state agency and we do not get a lot of money. But I have seen the effects that covid has done to peoples lives, deaths and the economy and can tell you. If you are healthy and covid free, count that as a blessing.

Sorry for the long winded speech. Please delete if I offended anyone and or off topic.

Yep. I remember getting cigarette butts stuck in the shopping cart wheels rolling through K-Mart.

I remember when you could walk into Walmart with $20 and walk out with 20 lures and still get some change back. Then they installed all those dang cameras. nuts
