The "cannot sell them fast enough" is more like "can't build them fast enough." One of the things being said about this is that you really have to be careful with what you pick out. They are building them fast and CHEAP! They are also builder them lighter so every SUV in America can pull one. Lighter means less less strength. JMO.

A smart full timer is going to get a full timer grade/quality unit instead of a weekender model.

We are flying to Knoxville Tennessee tomorrow to pick our new motorhome up, we will never be full timers but hope to explore the entire USA over the next few years. We had a class A a few years ago and sold it , hope I still remember how to drive one.

The newer fifth wheels with slideouts are nice and plenty of room for an old man. My happiness comes from fishing, hunting and solitude. I will live in Arizona for 6 months and right on the Nehalem river with an Alumaweld sled for 6 months near my Oregon fishing buddies. That one is $450 a month including water and electricity and they have an awesome boat dock. To each his own.

Sorry to hear about your wife, sounds like you have it figured out, good luck to you sir.

We have full-timed in a 5th wheel for almost 4 yrs, love it. Just like neighborhoods, there are good parks and bad parks. I will say that the cheapest we have paid at any park we consider nice is $450 and the most in Texas is $800. With covid and the ability to work from home, and online school many have bought RV's. I would say this was the busiest summer/Fall we have seen at any park in 5 different states. Concrete padded sites, good wifi and a nice laundry room are probably the most important things for full-timers. Next would be an adult section, A nice dog park and a onsite propane refill station. Cant speak for those that have kids with them. I would think a pool, but very expensive to keep up with.

Who are you working on one with if you don't mind me asking ? I met a man today that told me he was putting in a park near Valley View by Ray Roberts, fairly sure it has to be the same park you are referring to.

I'm sorry. I worte that wrong. Sounds like I was working on the rv park. I should have said they were working on one. I've heard it is a group of firefighters that are putting in the park by Ray Roberts.

That is correct, I met with one of them yesterday.

It doesnt take a big chunk of land to make a reasonable size park. RVs are pretty close together!
