I have a Stradic 4000 for parts posted here in the classifieds, but if nobody is interested in it or I don’t get any reasonable offers, I might just keep it and use it to modify or repair some other reels.

One thing I might like to do is install the wooden knob onto a Sedona 4000 reel I have. I think the wood will be a nice upgrade over the factory plastic on the Sedona. The Sedona knob is held on with a screw, easy enough to remove. The stradic wood knob appears to be riveted on. Is it possible to remove a riveted on knob without damaging it so I can transfer it over?

I would just put the entire handle, knob and all on the Sedona, but it don’t match at all. The Stradic handle is silver, where the Sedona body is gold and the Sedona handle is chrome. I like the chrome against the gold much better than the silver metallic.

You could drill out the rivet
