 Making bullets out of fish.

Could’ve gone to a tire shop and they’d give wheel weights for free. Smelt, flux, and cast. Very popular for actual projectile making in reloading.

Yeah, maybe if you just need a few ounces of lead, sometimes a tire store may help. But with lead going for about .80 cents a #, tire stores can make a nice monthly stipend selling recycled tire weights instead of giving them away to the public.

No thank you.

Pretty crafty . How did you decide to melt them down ? I used my turkey fryer and an old cast iron skillet that was on it's last leg.

Wheel weights are probably less than half lead anymore.
