I am going to be in Galveston for a couple of days this week. With lower water temps where would the best place to fish some artificial for trout or reds? Are there any lighted piers that would be good this time of year?

Yes, I used to fish under the lights in the Colorado River in Matagorda. The colder the better. I am not familiar with Galveston enough to know if there are opportunities like that

The far end of the TX CITY DIKE might pay off.....deep hole at the end..maybe 28ft deep. Fresh dead bait on bottom, you may pick up a Red, Blk Drum, or a trout or two jigging.
