Kitty has claws and she knows how to use them



Edit....cats need claws to stretch out the tendons and ligaments in their arms. To not be able to do that is cruel. It would be like having an itch on your nose and not being able to scratch it.

Mudshark you have a very cute kitten. We also have a kitten, hes turning 1 this month. We have no problems with him scratching furniture but he does love scratching corners. Oscar and Missy will be bffs in no time! Thanks for sharing kitty pics.

Muffin has no front claws and a good thing. She knows how to use her teeth. I went through the kitten thing. She preferred couches, chairs, and carpet over scratching posts. I wanted to get the kitten declawed when we had her spayed but my daughter said no. Muffin weighs 18 lbs and I cannot imagine her with claws.

Every attitude and belief I have regarding cats was shaped by a dog. My all-time favorite mentor was a little canine fella I learned about in the OT. I don’t recall who posted about him, but I will never forget his name - it’s Harvey.

Harvey hates cats like the libs hate America and freedom. To this day, I don’t see a cat without thinking about Harvey.

This is why the little terrorist is getting declawed. They learn to jump up on things instead of jump on and climb up!
