What is your favorite deep crank bait for winter time fishing? I am just wondering if many even fish deep cranks at this time .

I fish deep cranks all year, but even more in the winter. 6XD and 10XD get 90% of the work. I would love to throw an 8XD in there, but I have found that 50% or more of the ones I have bought do not run correctly. (don't wobble consistently, sink, don't run true)

I go shallow in the wintertime. Those fish are shallow to eat.

Any depth—count down a 3/4oz lipless. Pull/sweep slowly to the side, pause, repeat

Great time to throw big cranks on allot of lakes this time of year. Mainly same colors as rest of the year when the water is 20-30ft deep they all look relatively the same anyway. If im shallower or around allot of rock hard to beat a 6-10ft diver in a craw color.

6XD's and 8XD's are the ones I have gravitated to throwing more and more.

I threw Cranks in 2020 more than I think I ever have in my life. cheers

I'll throw a 1/2 & 3/4 oz Rattle Trap in the same situations as well.

The Strike King 1.5 flatside is one of my favorites. Its not really a deep crank but it dives 8ft to 12ft. If you longline troll it on 12lb line you can bump the bottom in 16ft. I wish they made a slightly bigger version. The flatside works well for me in the winter.
