I like the open cuff brown jersey cloves with red insulation. Buy em by the dozen. Pretty warm and easy to get off and on. When a pair gets wet grab another pair.

Two pair on coldest days. Monster sized mitts with several chemical warmers in each one. Thinner fingerless glove to fish with. When fingers lose feeling, I stick my gloved hands in mitts to quickly warm back up and then back to fishing.

Check out the Fish Monkey Gloves. Several styles to pick from. I bought a pair of Fish Monkey gloves for Winter and aside from the gaudy LOGO all over it they are great gloves!

I bought a pair of these Lizard Skins Cold Weather Batting Gloves and they have neoprene backs and leather palms.

Did a test the other day with heavy duty (13mil) Nitrile glove on reeling hand and a medium heaviness hunting glove on other hand, and the reeling hand stayed tingle / numb free in 38 degree weather. If you could find a thin layered glove to go on top of the nitrile, that would probably be the optimal way to go
