We're on the waiting list for a Cybertruck, but I doubt we will have the option to buy it until 2022 ... or later. I think we are somewhere near 200,000 on a list that is around 600,000.

You have to be able to thump a 2000 watt stereo for extended amounts of time at the stoplights to annoy everyone, also. There are just too many downsides to an EV right now.

I mean no disrespect, I think it's a cool concept, but that is quite honestly the ugliest thing I've ever seen. One of my elderly clients (78 years old) is on the list, too. They currently have the big Tesla sedan and want the truck.

To me, they look like a stealth fighter and a Honda Ridgeline got wasted at a bar, then hooked up in the parking lot. After a few months, the Tesla truck was born and Elon musk slapped it with a hammer to get it to start breathing on live tv.

Ya lost me at “Ridgeline”.

There's the answer on hydrogen. A ridiculously cheap technology that works - but there isn't enough complicated steps to hide that 10% all down the line.

BTW: as a former nicad field service engineer I can assure you if every vehicle on the planet is battery powered there won't be any life on the planet at all. The battery industry is toxic and it stays toxic.

They're getting ready to start building the first power plants based on small scale nuclear reactors and backed by the US Government. My opinion, eventually your 4'x4' cube AC unit outside of your house will be replaced with something similar. It is a private company but Fluor Corp is the majority share holder and will be building these power plants, Stock ticker FLR ... don't miss out on this one either.

Getting Closer .... you need to get in on this stock (FLR) The stock is sitting at 17.66 and will be climbing back to the $50.00 and $60.00 range in the coming couple of years.

Saturday , My Ford Dealer Guy said they are coming out (don't know when) with a F150 Turbo V6 and electric combo Hybrid. He's already been to school on it. Now that might work.

Interesting read. So if I understand, it takes time to charge the battery on electric vehicles.
Basic charging station is more than just plugging your car in to the wall.
California is going to ban the sale of gas vehicles by 2035.
To date, California STILL has rolling blackouts due to lack of power supply.

Yep, makes perfect sense.

If California actually does ban the sale of gas fueled vehicles, the use of and pollution of carbon emissions will drastically increase.

But then the people of and the politicians of California have never been known for their intelligence.

The answer to our carbon emissions problem is now and has been thorium powered nuclear reactors.....thousands of them.
