Replacing trailer hubs yourself is an easy way to save a couple hundred bucks.

I just tore my trailer hubs down, but found no issues with the bearings, race or spindles so reassembled
These flow through hubs have again proven their worth.

Save even more by carrying a fully greased new hub and bearings and a few tools in the boats tool bag. Learned the hard way.

I just have my vault bearings rebuilt every 3 years when I replace my trailer tires. I use to do that stuff myself before I retired, but my working career choices allows me options to pick and choose things I might want to pay someone else to do. Grass cutting and fertilizing the yard is another one I no longer do. Besides everyone is going to have to quit doing those types of jobs with all the new and future democratic Americans being let in. They will need work you know.
