Anybody on here play them?

I have friend retired ftworth firefighter plays them. Usually at police or firemen funeral

Those things sound like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.

Actually bought a set years ago . Learned the chanter fairly well but just don't seem to have the lung capacity for the bag .

The only acdc song I can’t listen to, long way to the top, annoying as heck

They have a gentleman at the tribute golf club that starts tournaments by playing the pipes, stands up on a hill by himself and wales away, it pretty cool for a minute

I've heard Amazing Grace played on the bagpipes a bunch of times at military funerals. The piper will usually stand off in the distance, play the 1st verse and then slowly walk away as he continues with the rest of the song. Always give me a chill.

My son in law has played them for many years-
Lewisville fireman, he plays in their color guard, but also hires out for funerals-
They live next to us here so we get to hear him practicing a lot-
I enjoy it-

Scottish blood, I don't mind them. Often wonder If I could play them.

Rather hear a fat girl fart, over a field phone !!!!!!
