Do you guys use screws or bolts to install your electronic mounts on the front deck of your boat. I am getting ready to install a large mount for my livescope screen and wondered if screwing it down will work or if I need bolts with nuts on the underside?

Thanks.

If possible I like to use bolts with lock nuts. Just makes it cleaner esp if the mounting location is near or within a storage compartment. Helps keeping things from snagging up to self tappers or even rubbing back of hand when digging in storage compartments. However there are situations where self tappers might be the the only way to go. Also have to consider what you are mounting up to (alum, fiber, or wood)

The obvious is stainless steel 100%
