 Crappie, Bluegill, and Trout !

Was able to fish two days of my three days off. Fished for crappie and Bluegill one day at some marked locations. I also fished a trout stocking. Boat traffic was light at our marked locations and the trout stocking had a lot of people. I fished my buddy Jeff both days. We managed 21 keeper crappie and 10 throw backs. We also caught 9 Bluegill in the 8 to 9 inch range. Fish were caught in 14 to 18 feet of water by ledges and brush piles. Jigs Chartreuse/Pink and Chartreuse/Black did the trick. All fish were released. At the trout stocking we both limited out and kept them for the frying pan. Trout were all caught on the Gold Super Duper Lure. Nice post Laker. Yes Sir it is always a good thing to get as much fishing time into your daily life as possible. Fishing is GOOD for the soul.

Thanks for the replies. Chuck. Guadalupe River (Trail Race area). Vogey. The area where we were fishing does not have any docks. We were east of Meadow.
