Say it ain't so. I've had My eye on that position every since I first saw one!

You have to start out as a greeter and work your way up.

Just a guess.

They need to look to ANY construction related jobs from supply to pushing a broom, just be listen and good at what you do and you'll have 40hrs a week or more.

We supply regional homebuilders. Haven't had overtime since March, but the 40 is always there.

Didn't they try that in Oregon, or somewhere in the Northwest and all of a sudden unemployment went up and a lot of jobs went from full time to part time. Idiocy.

It was still $2 cash, but I could eat stuff off of plates they brought back. Sometimes it was the only thing I’d eaten that day. True story.

We talking caviar and lobster or half eaten corny dogs and french fries?

It was decent stuff. Half to 3/4 steak pieces that chicks ordered but didn’t finish, the morsel of meat left when you separate lobster from the shell...etc., stuff like that.

I'm probably wrong thinking this, but what may happen is small businesses cut workers by half and the remaining have to work harder and longer to produce the same as before.

Yea, but they are going to do it better than they did, just like they will do a better job of socialism than Venezuela did or any of the long list of others that tried it and failed.

Never been a big fan of the Minimum Wage, but if they are going to have it it should be locked to inflation just like Social Security, Military wage increases, and so forth. Take raising it out of the politicians hands.

May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

My grandson started a part-time college job working in the kitchen at Chick-Fil-A at $15.00hr two years ago. Don't see it as a big deal. A lot of places already pay this or close to it.

It will cost lower end jobs, we will eliminate the bus boy position, drop a cook from some shifts, do away with a cashier or 2. Raise prices 15 percent or so.

Maybe this could be the next cause to protest? I wonder what a million man march in the name of lower wages would look like?

It’ll be way more than a million and wages will be a moot point at that time. It’s a simmering flag
