Minimum wage = inflation. Every time minimum wage goes up, there is a trickle up effect and the price for all goods and services increases across the board. Minimum wage workers enjoy a pay increase for a short period of time, but within a year or so they will realize they can afford less "stuff" than they could before the wage hike.

It could be argued that the salaried workers are the most negatively impacted because they get the burden of all they cost increases without even the temporary effect of the pay increase.

I am a non believer in MW , and as an employer I have never paid even close to it on the down side.

Employee / Employer is all this concerns not the gov.

It was still $2 cash, but I could eat stuff off of plates they brought back. Sometimes it was the only thing I’d eaten that day. True story.

We talking caviar and lobster or half eaten corny dogs and french fries?

15,20,35. Whatever. In a year or to 15 will be the same as 7.50 in terms of prices for goods and services. It wont improve anybody's wealth standing but it will pull down the middle class to a poverty level once it settles out. People making 20+/hr wont see the raise and will only prolong their wages to go up so basically they are just making the poverty class bigger, creating more wealth gap. Great job

The $7 value meal at the fast food restaurant of your choice will become the $10 value meal. Inflation is coming, and not just from this minimum wage idiocy.

It will put a lot of people out of work. It will also lead to the hiring of more illegals who can be paid in cash. Walmart checkers will be a thing of the past for sure.

This will also lead to more automation and elimination of jobs. Why pay a cashier 15 dollars an hour when you can walk up to kiosk and order it yourself.

It will be the death low skill labor. Kiosk will replace the majority of the jobs and innovations will soon replace the rest. The left clearly understands this and it is by design. It keeps the unskilled on the welfare plantations and that is the majority of the lefts voters base. Prosperity is the enemy of the left.

You can actually do it now every time you go. Just like pumping gas used to be a job.
