7 miles out into the Atlantic looking for the edge of the Gulfstream Current. Never found it. Made the picture colorful because I had so much sunscreen on and the ashes from my cigs were stuck all over my face. roflmao

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

Maiden voyage was 39 years ago and made public 32 years ago. What do we have now that we haven't seen yet?

Happy pup after we hiked 8 miles in and 8 miles back in Paria Canyon in northern Arizona and southern Utah. We were supposed to do an overnight 20-something mile hike, but the BLM told us it wasn’t safe because it was raining somewhere upstream and there was a flash flood warning, so we had to amend our plans and do it another day, which meant we couldn’t do an overnight. Very tough hike for what it was, because the water is freezing and chocolate milk colored, so you can’t see where you’re stepping. There is quicksand, small pockets that might go up to your knee or hip and it’s rocky the whole way. A lot of fun but it was tough. Our dog enjoyed himself immensely, as seen by all of the mud on him. This was part of a 10 day excursion we did in Arizona, Utah, New Mexico and Colorado about six years ago. Stayed in Zion and Grand Canyon and several other places. Saw a lot and had a great time.
