Luminant has delayed the reopening of Squaw Creek until October 8th 2021 at a minimum with a validation of this date in September 2021 based on current COVID-19 protocols/projections. Please check this page for future updates.

No big deal keep it closed Let's not downplay. It is a big deal... because our TPWD dollars went into building the fishery! I would guess there is at least someone (employees or executives) fishing the lake while it is closed.
